Big Announcement! The Flying Arts Collective student showcase will take place over the course of the “Steam on Queen” steampunk festival on June 22nd, from 11-7,on the grounds of the Campbell House at Osgood Station (Queen and University). Admission is free, and the students will be performing on instructor Tiffany Warden’s outdoor portable aerial rig!

Class Schedule- In effect April, 2013

Location: The Fighting Arts Collective Toronto (FACT)

927 Dupont (just west of Ossington), 2nd floor

Monday- Mixed apparatus- 10:30-12pm

Tuesday- Mixed apparatus- 10-11:30am

               Silks- 8:15-9:30pm- Co-taught with Taliya Cohen!

      Wednesday- Mixed Apparatus (silks, hoop, rope)- 10-11:30am

                    Youth aerial class (ages 12+) 4:30-5:45pm

                    Hoop and Trapeze- 8:15-9:30                                           

Thursday-   Silks and Trapeze- 11am-12:30pm

                         Mixed apparatus- 6:30-8pm

Friday- open gym- 10:30am-1pm

Saturday- Mixed Apparatus- 10-11:30am

Sunday- Mixed Apparatus- 2:45-4:15pm

              Open gym- 4:15-6:00pm

             Note** As we near the upcoming June Student Showcase, Sunday open gym will switch to Act development/showcase prep

Co-Founder Holly Treddenick has welcomed a baby girl into the world! All of Holly’s classes continue to be covered by Kirsten Edwards and Lara Ebata. All of Holly’s regular classes will run as scheduled and Holly will return in the spring/summer of 2013.

Pricing remains the same; 5 classes for $115.00 or 10 classes for $200.00. one drop in class is $25 per class. Class cards may be used for ANY aerial arts class within the Flying Arts Collective, regardless of the coach, and must be used up within 3 months of the purchase date.

Hi all, there are changes afoot here at the Flying Arts Collective. Please read carefully as there are new classes and some schedule changes…Also, don’t forget to spread the word about the upcoming Student Showcase on Sunday, December 2!

With summer coming to a close, now seems a great time to make changes, add classes, and get ready for our future circus endeavours! Here’s the Fall Schedule, taking affect as of Sept.1st:

Monday- open gym, 10am-12pm

Tuesday- silks and hoop- 10am-11:30am

Tuesday- silks- 8:15pm-9:30pm

Wednesday- mixed apparatus (rope, silks, trapeze)- 10am-11:30pm

Wednesday-youth aerial class (ages 7+)- 4:30-5:30pm

Wednesday- hoop and trapeze- 8:15-9:30pm

Thursday-mixed apparatus- 6:30-8pm

Friday-open gym- 10-11:30am

Saturday-Core Work, 9:30-10 am; Aerial Class, 10-11 am; Open Gym, 11-noon

Sunday- mixed apparatus- 2:45-4:15pm, open gym- 4:15-5pm, handstands (NEW!)-5-5:30pm,

             conditioning- 5:30-6pm

Fees for the 5 and 10 class-cards remain the same; $115 for 5 classes, and $200 for 10. Single classes are $25.00 each. All new students must be prepared to sign a waiver. All youth students under 18 must have the waiver signed by their OWN parent or legal guardian.

Hi all, just a quick update to let you know some changes have occurred here at FACT. Here’s the new revised class schedule and information about our new open gym policy:

Monday-open gym, 10am-noon

Tuesday- Hoop and Trapeze, 10-11:30 am; Silks, 8:15-9:30 pm

Open Gym- 10 am-noon

Wednesday- Mixed Apparatus, 10-11:30 am; Youth Class, 4:30-6 pm; Hoop and trapeze, 8:15-9:30 pm

Open Gym- 10 am-noon

Thursday-Mixed Apparatus, 6:39-8 pm

Friday-Open Gym, 10 am-noon

Saturday-Core Work, 9:30-10 am; Aerial Class, 10-11 am; Open Gym, 11-noon

(Come to all 3 Saturday classes and have them count as only one class on your class-card!)

Sunday-Mixed Apparatus class, 2:45-4:15 pm; Open Gym, 4:15-5:00 pm;

Conditioning Class, 5-5:30 pm

($10 for Sunday conditioning class)

*new*-  Unlimited Open-Gym Monthly Pass- $100.00

Flying Arts Collective, 2012!

Happy (belated) New Year everyone, hope yours has been a success so far. 2012 is shaping up to be a great year for the Flying Arts Collective, as we’ve welcomed many new students, performed our first winter student showcase in December, added a coach, Zoey Gould, to our ranks, and are gearing up for our first Spring showcase in June!

Our schedule has changed to correspond with the new year..Mostly new classes, but do read carefully as it is now quite different than in was in 2011…

Monday: Open Gym- 10am-12pm

Tuesday: Hoop and Silks- 10am-11:30am ; Silks- 8:15-9:30pm

Wednesday: Mixed Apparatus- 10-11:30am ; Youth Aerials-4:30-6pm                                     Hoop and Trapeze- 8:15-9:30pm

Thursday: Mixed Apparatus- 6:30-8pm

Friday: Open Gym- 10-11:30am

Saturday: Contortion basics/Conditioning- 10-11:30am

Sunday: Mixed Apparatus- 2:45-4:15pm ; Open Gym-4:15-5pm                       Conditioning- 5-5:30pm                                                                                                       *Sunday open gym and conditioning classes together count as ONE class from a student’s Class Card, or the use of both classes is a $25 drop-in fee*

Prices are as follows:

single drop in class- $25                                                                                                              Open gym fee- $5 for class-card holders, $15 for all other aerial drop-ins                        5-Class Card- $115 ($23/class)                                                                                               10-Class Card- $200 ($20/class)                                                                                              Trial Class- $25

New and Exciting Fall Programing

Hello everyone, after a bit of a hiatus, the FACT Aerial program is back with some exciting new changes and additions. We are now officially the “Flying Arts Collective” and have a new method of payment designed to allow the most people to benefit from the program. Holly Treddenick and Tiffany Warden have teamed up and are now offering more class options for a new low price: 5 classes for $115.00 or 10 classes for $200.00. Each batch of 5 or 10 classes is good for 3 months after their purchase and classes can be taken with either Holly or Tiffany, as your schedule allows!

Class schedule is as follows:

Tuesday- Silks with Tiffany, 8:15-9:45pm                                                                  Wednesday AM- Multi-disciplinary aerial class with Holly, 10-11:30 am               Wednesday PM- Hoop/Trapeze with Tiffany, 8:15-9:45pm                                      Thursday- Multi-disciplinary aerial class with Holly, 6-7:30pm                                      Sunday- Multi-disciplinary aerial class with Holly, 2:45-415pm                                                                  Open Gym (for Flying Arts Collective members only)- 4:15-5pm                                              Conditioning class with Tiffany- 5-5:30pm

Please note that Sunday’s open gym and conditioning class cost $15 to attend and can not be counted as a pre-purchased class. Both open gym and conditioning are included in the $15.00 fee.

The youth aerial class is still running as well, ages 10-17 on Wednesdays from 4:30-6pm with limited spots still available.
